Professor Marcello Costa and The Renaissance

As well as the customary blend of folk music, dancing and great food, the annual Carnevale festival in Adelaide also gives space to forums and lectures on aspects of Italian History.
Professor Marcello Costa, a neurophysiologist at Flinders University, is a great exponent of the history of Italian culture and a regular participant in such events. Here he is speaking to Ewart Shaw about the significance of the city of Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance.
